PLC in BUSINESS STUDIES
OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
- To provide students with the knowledge and skills related to running a business
- To prepare students for employment in this area
- To provide a basis for further study at third level
ENTRY STANDARD
Applicants must have completed a Leaving Cert course or equivalent
COURSE CONTENT
- Business Administration, Applied Economics,
- Bookkeeping-Manual & Computerised, Business
- Calculations, Word Processing, Health & Safety,
- Communications, Work Experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE
The course will include a work experience placement in a relevant employment
CERTIFICATION
Students will be entered for the FETAC Level 5 award in Business Studies BBSXX.
