OBJECTIVES OF COURSE

• To provide students with the knowledge and skills related to running a business
• To prepare students for employment in this area
• To provide a basis for further study at third level

ENTRY STANDARD

Applicants must have completed a Leaving Cert course or equivalent

COURSE CONTENT

• Business Administration, Applied Economics,
• Bookkeeping-Manual & Computerised, Business
• Calculations, Word Processing, Health & Safety,
• Communications, Work Experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

The course will include a work experience placement in a relevant employment

CERTIFICATION

Students will be entered for the FETAC Level 5 award in Business Studies BBSXX.
